Art Addition to Masterpiece

This is what I did for the art addition to a masterpiece project! I was asked to put my face into an art masterpiece. At first, it was kind of hard to decide what piece of art I should choose. Most people put their face into a portrait painting, however, I thought it would be fun to incorporate myself into the apple of The Son of a Man. This is how it turned out! Hope you enjoy!!!

Mona Lisa

Once upon a time, there was a woman named Mona Lisa, who didn't have any eyebrows and who hated wearing all those fancy clothes (I mean, look at her smile; she's not happy). 514 years after she was painted on a canvas (1503), she was put into Photoshop and found her true self: Eating at the burger shop with some ketchup and mustard. In this Mona Lisa, I started with trace all of her features. After tracing, I replaced her old dress, with a jacket, using the Photoshop fill tool. Additionally, I put in a new background and added a tablecloth for the restaurant.  I also added one of my favorite art pieces I made in 6th grade of ketchup and mustard. This involved a lot of .JPEGs and hard work, but in the end it was really worth it. I have really enjoyed this project, because I got to show you what Mona Lisa should be like.

Shadow Study

These are the shadows for my Shadow Study! For this assignment, I took pictures of the shadows I found around me. I thought this was really cool because I was able to play around with the lighting and angles of the sun, in order to capture these photos. I hope you enjoy!!!

Colonial Pop Art Project

So, a few Fridays ago, we had a Freaky Friday Day, where some of the teachers switched classes. For digital art, my teacher, Mrs. Forrest switched with Mrs. Zangara, an 8th-grade history teacher. During that class, we learned the history of pop art, which is making a very simple, ordinary thing and making it special and unique. I decided to take a barrel and a goat (my favorite animal) and make it awesome using Photoshop!
