Edward Gorey

This is my Edward Gorey assignment! This was based on Edward's very morbid and macabre Gashlycrumb Tinies Alphabet book. This book was about how different kids died, in alphabetical order of names. On a happier note, this assignment, I thought, allowed me to show more of my funny and unique side. I wish that this project could've lasted a little longer because it was so much fun!

Mona Lisa

Once upon a time, there was a woman named Mona Lisa, who didn't have any eyebrows and who hated wearing all those fancy clothes (I mean, look at her smile; she's not happy). 514 years after she was painted on a canvas (1503), she was put into Photoshop and found her true self: Eating at the burger shop with some ketchup and mustard. In this Mona Lisa, I started with trace all of her features. After tracing, I replaced her old dress, with a jacket, using the Photoshop fill tool. Additionally, I put in a new background and added a tablecloth for the restaurant.  I also added one of my favorite art pieces I made in 6th grade of ketchup and mustard. This involved a lot of .JPEGs and hard work, but in the end it was really worth it. I have really enjoyed this project, because I got to show you what Mona Lisa should be like.

Celebrity Coloring Book Page

Here is my celebrity coloring book page of Steve Carell or better known as Michael Scott from The Office. I really like The Office and thought it would be kind of cool to base this assignment on it. So for all you Office lovers, feel free to print out and color this.

Bird Coloring Page

This is my bird coloring page! For this assignment, we were asked to find a blank coloring page of any kind of bird. I decided to choose a barn owl, a bird I have always loved. Anyway, we had to use pictures of real bird feathers in Photoshop to create the bird. Hope you enjoy!
